Our business partner hospitals include a Level II Trauma Center, Community and Critical Access hospitals, and Ambulatory Surgery centers. Academic Qualifications:
1.BSN from an approved school of nursing
2.Graduate from a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the AANA Council on accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs
3.Masters in Nurse Anesthesia (preferred)
4.AANA Certification and/or Board Eligible (you have six months to successfully complete boards from the date of hire)

Work Experiences and Skills:

  1. Experience:
    • Commitment to continuous improvement in self, others, and process
    • Completion of an intense "on the job" training program
  2. Training:
    • ACLS required
    • BLS required
    • PALS required
    • NALS recommended
  3. Licensure:
    • Current State of Maine RN license
    • Advanced Practice License (ME)
    • Compliance with criteria for biennial recertification as a CRNAs as defined by the AANA Council on Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists
  4. Professional Ethics:
    • As per AANA Code of Ethics
